Griffin High School Celebrates Highest Graduation Rate in School History
Griffin High School is proud to announce that the Class of 2026 achieved a 96.5% graduation rate, the highest graduation rate in Griffin High School history!
This accomplishment represents tremendous growth over the past four years:
2023: 85.8%
2024: 85.6%
2025: 93.4%
2026: 96.5%

We extend a special thank you to our teachers, graduation coach, counselors, support staff, families, and community for making this achievement possible. Their continued dedication, guidance, encouragement, and commitment have helped our scholars stay focused, overcome challenges, and reach the finish line.
A 96.5% graduation rate is more than a number. It represents the hard work of our scholars and the collective commitment of our entire Bear Family to helping students succeed.

GHS Facutly had a very productive staff meeting Friday morning with a presentation from Dr. Warren and Ms. Judi Battle. Staff were presented with service pins recognizing their years of service to the GSCS community.
Griffin-Spalding County Schools Celebrates 95.6% Graduation Rate!
GSCS is proud to announce the district’s 2026 four-year graduation rate rose to 95.6 percent, reflecting the continued commitment of students, educators, families and the entire community to student success. GSCS performed above the State of Georgia graduation rate of 88.5 percent.
Graduation rates across the district’s high schools demonstrate strong outcomes for the Class of 2026. Griffin High School achieved a 96.5 percent graduation rate, A.Z. Kelsey Academy achieved a 100 percent graduation rate and Spalding High School achieved a 94.2 percent graduation rate.

Mitchell also debugged the device by repairing a broken wire.

Mitchell built a Bluetooth speaker from scratch and programmed it to successfully connect to real devices. When he encountered a broken wire, he also demonstrated strong problem-solving skills by debugging the device, repairing the wire, and getting the speaker working properly.
Mitchell’s accomplishment is a great example of how our scholars are applying classroom knowledge through creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. We are proud of Mitchell for his hard work and determination as he continues developing his technology and programming skills.
