
GSCS is in the Annual Transportation Registration Process that takes place each school term. Our goal is to capture each returning scholars' transportation needs for the upcoming 2024-2025 school term. Capturing this information ensures that all scholars utilizing the bus can access accurate schedules and stop locations prior to the beginning of the new school term. This information will also be made available at your school’s Open House Ceremony. An individual request for each Scholar is completed via the Transportation Request Form . I have attached a Registration for Transportation Flyer in your email for your convenience, as well as a form that can be filled out by families that request services for the 24/25 school year. Reminder: Submitted requests are due no later than March 31st, 2024.

Scholar will need to be transported by School Bus AM/PM or Both
If you are requesting an Alternate Stop
*Alternate Stop Requests are subject to approval and contingent upon seating availability. Alternate Stops will only be approved once per Semester and can only Be AM/PM or Both. We will not honor Daily requests. Please note that Alternate stops can take up to August 19th. 2024 for Approval as initial requests are the priority.

GSCS school nursing services provided a free community screening event for students registering for Griffin-Spalding County Schools in conjunction with Pre-K registration. They provided free screenings for hearing, vision, nutrition and dental yesterday and will again tomorrow.

Recently, GSCS students submitted their original works for the annual Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition. The purpose of the Young Georgia Authors (YGA) writing competition is to encourage students to develop enthusiasm for and expertise in their writing, to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes, and to recognize student achievement in arts and academics. KRMS Stakeholder Meetings will be held March 5 at 4:30pm and March 7 at 8:30 am in the Media Center. All parents are invited to attend and participate. Our Leadership Team @KennedyRoadMS was super productive as we focused on our Comprehensive Needs Assessment and our School Improvement Plan. We had great discussion delving into data and assessing any trends! We worked in groups and then shared out our findings. #KennedyCulture
