What is JROTC?

The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps' (otherwise known as JROTC) is a federal program sponsored by the United States Armed Forces and can be found with high schools through-out the country. JROTC is a military regulated program that combines classroom instruction with service to school and community.

Why should I join JROTC?

JROTC is designed to offer high-school students leadership experiences in order to motivate them to become better American Citizens.The program is designed to teach students citizenship, responsibility, leadership, community service and teamwork while instilling in them a sense of accomplishment and self-discipline. 

Is JROTC part of the military?

No. While JROTC is beneficial to students who wish to advance into military careers, JROTC does not intend to recruit.Our only goal is to motivate young people to be better citizens. We emphasize character education, student achievement, wellness and diversity.
