GA State to Offer a Q&A Session

On Thursday, November 15, 2012, Georgia State is participating in a free online event hosted by CollegeWeekLive. This event is devoted to answering studentss questions about their admissions process, program information, and student life.

April 2- 6 and April 9-13

GHS/FBLA Entrepreneurship students will be running their very own small business. Over the past month students have been planning their business making sure to consider inventory, pricing and profit, customer service, management skills and marketing. Dominoes Pizza, Chick-fil-A, Subway, Chinese Food and Sweet Desserts will be offered for sale. This is their 3rd year in Business classes and are culminating a real world project!

GHS begins registration for 2012-2013

Griffin High School is beginning the registration process for the 2012-2013 school year.  Below are documents that describe the courses offered as well as course selection guides.  This information will also remain available on the green menu bar under “Important Information”.

GHS Hosts Its First Academy Fair

Thursday, January 26, Griffin High School held its first Academy Fair.  The purpose of the fair was to showcase each career academy and its electives.  Griffin High’s Freshman Academy as well as eigth grade students from Cowan Road, Carver Road, and Kennedy Road Middle Schools were able to learn about their elective options from student representatives.  Griffin High School counselors will be conducting on-site registration at the middle schools the week of Jan. 30 – Feb. 3 and at Griffin High from Feb. 6- 17.
