Swofford Construction hosts local Skills USA competitionTop of Page

Mr. Joe Tuggle, President and COO of Swofford Construction sponsored a Skills USA Challenge, held on November 1, 2018 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Griffin Kiwanis Fairgrounds.  This event is aimed at giving students a chance to practice their skills before the main SkillsUSA Region 5 contest in February.      
 
India Bryant received 1st Place in the Skills Challenge Electrical Competition for the third year in a row.  She also received a two-year scholarship with Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) Electrical Apprenticeship program. 
 
Andrew Landrum received 3rd Place in the Skills Challenge Plumbing Competition.
