First Sergeant Retired Reginald Gee brings a wealth of Leadership to the Griffin HS JROTC Department. He enlisted in the United StateArmy in May 16, 1997-February 28, 2019 as a Combat Medic. First Gee has served in multiple positions throughout his career to include (Flight Paramedic, Master Resilience Trainer, Battalion Master Trainer, Battalion Operations Noncommissed Officer in Charge (NCOIC), Recruiting Senior Enlisted Advisor. First Sergeant Gee assumed the position of Army Instructor upon retirement at Tri-Cities High School and now serves as an Army Instructor for the Griffin High School JROTC department.

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Ronald E. Polk served his country twenty-one years two months as a member of the Armor Division. Born in Mattoon, Illinois, and raised in Rock Island, SFC Polk received his Associates Degree (General Studies) with Central Texas College; Computer Network Technicians Certificate, his CompTIA A+ Computer Technology Certification, Associates of Applied Science (Computer Networking), Bachelor of Applied Science (Technology Management), and Master of Arts in English with Clayton State University.
SFC Polk wanted to share his love of learning and help the youth of today achieve more than they thought they could, SFC Polk started his employment with the Griffin-Spalding County School System on August 24, 2004. SFC Polk not only instructs LET 2s but mentors all LET levels and is the Coach for the Marching Rifles, Lady Rifles Drill Teams and Color Guard.
SFC Polk is married to the former Catherine Mitracos of Nemea, Greece. They have 1 daughter and 1 son and 1 granddaughter.
