Attention track and field members and those who are interested in joining the track team: There will be a track and field interest meeting and uniform sizing Monday after school in the commons. All team members and those interested in joining the 2019 Running Bears are asked to attend. This meeting will be from 3:30 to 4:30 so please be on time and have your ride ready to pick you up at 4:30.

GHS football tickets will be on sale Thursday and Friday during all lunches.
 
Jostens will be here to take Cap and Gown, Graduation Announcements, Apparel and jewelry orders on Wednesday November 14, during lunch in the cafeteria. This will be the last time Jostens will be in the building for Senior orders. All future orders can be made online @ www.jostens.com.
 
Auditions for the GHS Spring Musical "Chicago" will be held November 26th and 28 in the GHS chorus room. Audition packets are available in Mr. Dendy or Mr. Lindsey's room.

The field trip is the opportunity for scholars to tour the Career Academy. Field trip permission slips can be obtained from your 1st block teacher or the counselor's office. Members of the Griffin High School Key Club that will be attending the Georgia Leadership Training Conference (GLTC) at Six Flags over Georgia on August 25, 2018 must complete the Student Activity Permission Form and pay the $46.00 no later than August 17, 2018. See MSG Folds or the GHS Website Key club page for a copy first 10 paid members will go.
 
Dual Enrollments
If you are enrolled to take dual enrollment courses at GRCCA 1st and 2nd block, meet at the commons by the gym entrance door when the bell rings. If you are enrolled to take dual enrollment courses at GRCCA 3rd and 4th block you are to take first lunch. Afterwards, you will immediately meet at the commons by the gym entrance door to get on the bus to GRCCA.
 
Theater Students
If you would like to get involved in Griffin High School Theater, please come by Mr. Dendy's room after school on Tuesday August 14th. We will discuss One Act competition and Musical.
