Pawbotics Competed at State FTC Competition

Pawbotics, the Griffin High Robotics team, competed at the state FTC competition.  The team performed very well throughout the day and received accolades from many other teams. They won four of their six qualification matches and finished the day in 7th place out of 34 teams. They were then selected by the number two ranked team to compete with them in the finals. After a very unfortunate robot malfunction the team lost in the semi finals. They were however selected as alternates for the Super Regional Tournament in San Antonio, TX to be held in March.
This is the best that any Griffin High team has ever performed at the state level so please take a moment to congratulate any of the members if you see them for their outstanding performance!
Also, a special thanks to Lorie Dobbs, Science teacher at Griffin High, for accompanying the team and supporting them throughout the tournament.
Thank you for all of your support throughout the season!
