Pawbotics to Compete at State Competition

Over the weekend our Pawbotics attended the Circuit Runners Regional Tournament and was able to secure one of four available slots to advance to the state robotics competition.
The team was able to over come a series of adversities and advanced to the semi finals, but unfortunately they were unable to progress beyond the semi-finals. However they were nominated as the runner up for the most prestigious award in our organization, the inspire award. Because of this they were able to advance to the finals.
The Inspire Award is given to teams that not only perform well on the field, but also spread STEM and robotics through their community, track their ideas and designs through a comprehensive engineering notebook, and embody the idea of FIRST, gracious professionalism.
The team was also nominated for three other awards, and won the Rockwell Collins Innovate award for their innovative programming code.
Congratulats to the Pawbotics team in their achievements and their advancement to the state finals!
